Hi guys, Rafael at SYSCO here. It's autumn 2020 and we just started a big complex cloud migration project at a no name customer. We are moving Oracle assets from on-premise to the cloud in this case Oracle cloud. And I thought we would do an experiment here, where we through a series of vloggs let you follow on us on the journey, running through the obstacles and challenges and learning more about the methodology for running the project through. We might release this every second week or once a month, let's see. But this will be exciting guys because this is not yet a success story so with no further ado I would like to introduce you to the project Cloud Architect Ajit. So Ajit, what is your initial feelings now early on in the project? It will be very interesting and at the same time a challenging journey. This customer has lot of Oracle assets so they rather be a BI, Middleware etcetera. Given that the nature of the solution is ten years old, the technical depth is quite deep. So we are trying to find in a discovery mode how best we can move that to the cloud in a structured manner, where you don't want to boil the ocean but rather divide and conquer and put a method in place to move it to cloud in a risk-free manner. Okay cool, so what is your gut feeling? It will be tough, it will be challenging but we believe that you can follow us, stay tuned and we work together to see how we can solve this road blocks and more further on and making them more agile in the business.
